Results-Oriented Families Trust Our Process
We’re already looking forward to working with Becky again when it’s our daughter’s turn. We wholeheartedly recommend The College Coaches; their expertise made all the difference, and we can’t imagine navigating the process without them!
Fast forward to spring and both girls were accepted at their first choice colleges: Wake Forest and the United States Naval Academy. Becky's guidance during the service academy application process was key!
Our coach, Caroline, was able to get to know my son and his goals. She tailored their meetings to his needs and gave sound advice throughout - for both my son and myself. They set a reasonable schedule with small goals so that he was never overwhelmed. From creating a list of potential schools, advising us on how to get the most out of our school visits, assistance in writing the essays and supplements, creating a resume, and all of the other little things that each school now requires beyond the common app, Caroline made sure that he had all his i's dotted and t's crossed. We were ready and confident when it was time to submit the applications. College coaches gave us peace of mind and less stress though the whole process. We will be working with Caroline again when our daughter begins her college search next spring.
Thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is The College Coaches the best choice for my son or daughter?
Our counselors each bring decades of experience working inside schools, talking with college reps, and visiting campuses. We really get today’s students and know how to guide them through every step of the college process. You can pay by the hour for essay help or choose our full Season Pass bundle —so you only pay for what you need and get the right support.
Do you offer counseling by the hour?
Yes—essay coaching and a few other services are available hourly. For full college guidance, our Season Pass bundle gives you all the essential sessions. However, our years of experience show that families see the best results when they commit to the full bundle instead of a handful of hours.
What can I expect at the first meeting?
Your first session is about an hour long. We’ll learn about your child using your questionnaire answers and tailor the conversation to your needs. You’ll leave with a clear timeline, trusted resources, tips for campus visits, test-prep suggestions, and a plan for scholarships and college costs.
How do you set up sessions?
We meet on Zoom or in person, whichever you prefer. If your child has an essay draft, they can send it ahead of time and we’ll edit together. If they’re starting from scratch, we’ll use our “Talking Draft” method to get their ideas on screen, then shape those ideas into a strong essay. Scheduling is easy through our self-service portal.
What types of students do you work with?
We work with every kind of learner—high achievers, students with ADHD or dyslexia, those who struggle with anxiety, and more. We’re LGBTQ-friendly and welcome all students, no matter their background or goals.
Great coaches change outcomes. One conversation can change your child’s future.
Trusted by top students and families, our expert-led strategy sessions unlock admissions clarity—backed by data, driven by results.
